Elizabeth completed her 2-year training contract at DLA Piper in Manchester. On her admission as a solicitor in October 2011she joined its Corporate team. For the next almost 3 years Elizabeth worked pre-dominantly on M&A transactions (both domestic and cross-border), management buyouts and private equity.
In August 2014 she moved to KPMG in Manchester to help set up their legal function. She worked there for over 3 years assisting various KPMG client facing teams in the UK and Europe to deliver legal services to KPMG clients. She mainly focused on corporate re-organisations, employee incentive schemes and general corporate matters.
In April 2018 Elizabeth was admitted as an attorney in the Cayman islands and joined Loeb Smith. Her practice now mainly focuses on advising clients in China and the US on setting up open-ended funds in Cayman, including registered and non-registered CIMA funds and master-feeder structures.
